Another smoking show. Michael Schenker was on fire tonite. The whole
band was on and throughly enjoying themselves. Fluid and blazing
solos by Mr.Schenker. Go and see him in your town.

Some High Highlights:
Wayne Findlay can shred as he had a lead solo on a song I forget.
Blimey, old age is setting in... says a lot doesn't it.
Chris Logan was in fine voice although down in the mix a bit.
Rev Jones a great bass player and great stage presence.
Pete Holmes Fine Drummer!
Overall a smoking show by a band who had fun on stage.
Well then, I am going to have me a Lie Down.
I also met the, the Only Hans Albers.

Ritchie, here is a review of the 9/11 show in Chicago.
peace my friend...
Amazing show as usual, made extra special with the
addition of Uli Jon Roth. I had no idea what I was in
for since I've never seen Uli in person before, what I
saw was amazing I'm sure the set lists are posted of
Uli and Michael so I'll spare the formalities. Uli had
the projection screen behind him nothing disappointing
to me, alot of people were yelling out scorpions songs which
yeah I really love those songs too but its not a
scorpions show, so the one song (sails of charion) was
enough to make me happy, he ended his set with all
along the watchtower nobody does Jimi justice like Uli
period. its a lost artform that is difficult putting
words to, like I said I've seen live recorded stuff
but you have got to see him live. MSG came on sound
was was really good would like to hear the vocals just
a notch more. the set was similar to the last tour,
which is fine with me. set highlights to me were the
opening song Assault attack, the songs off
Arachnaphobia (great album), Attack of the mad axeman,
Doctor doctor, Into the arena, Armed and ready. Uli
joined Michael for the final encore of Rock bottom, it
left me speechless. I asked Wayne after the show if he
ever looks across the stage and wow theres Uli and
Michael, he told me he thanks god every day for the
blessings he's had with Michael, these guys are more
than rock stars, and great musicians they are a class
act and great people too.

Sat Nite 9/11 he was more of the Schenker we all know but still quite happy.
Also forgot to mention to you that Sat 9/11 Michael had a new V in his collection.
It was made by DEAN with the large V headstock and was painted half black / half white in schenker tradition.
It was really really very cool. It also had Binding on the neck, Block Inlays, and the typical Dean V shaped string thru body tailpiece.
Unfortunately Michael never took it off the stand behind him to play.
Maybe he'll use it this weekend when i go to see him in NY.
We have written DEAN guitars to find out more about the guitar but I wondered if you knew anyone who may have pictures of it on the stand from last saturdays show.
