Had a great night Sunday 11 Nov in Manchester, seeing Herr Schenker. Support band - Edens Curse were pretty good. Onto MSF. With such a back catalog spanning 40 years it was a good mix of old & new - but the old timeless UFO classics got the biggest cheer. There was good chemistry on stage between the band. I don't know if Gary B has a sore throat, but from when I saw the MSF last year compared to this year, his voice was shot. My only real criticism was of MS himself. Not his playing - no. It was superb as always. It was concerning his brother & the Scorpions. Twice he complained about them; at the opening track (Holiday) and later on (Coast to Coast), It's things that happened back in the 70s for gods sake, life is too short, what happened is history, time to move on. Certainly shouldn't be airing grievances on stage. Anyway, those going to see him on the rest of this tour, you'll have a great concert, enjoy!!
