My review of the Portland Oregon show last night of the American tour I could give you the blow by blow song my song review but checking some of the other set list if the same set list he did for most of the tour somebody had listed that he didn't coming home on the Encore but it was never played to review the show is kind of hard for me it was so good he was so on top of his game I just SAT there feeling like I've been on this 30 year journey with my guitar hero and I get to sit here 30 years later and he's at the top we've all gone through the highs the lows in a worried if he was going to come back and here is 30 years later and he is just on fire I've just been blown away and feel blessed to have gone on this musical journey with him. As I know we all have.

One little antidote I'd say for the first six seven songs until they introduced the band Herman Rarebell was just a little off you just seemed a little tired they introduced Frances and he got a good response they introduced Herman and we all went crazy and you could see the energy come back into the body and it just gave me the second wind and the rest of the concert he was just on

Temple of Rock hit the Bossanova Ballroom in Portland , Oregon hard! From the moment the lights went down to start the show with Doctor Doctor until they ended the Encore with Blackout.... The crowd was simply in the palms of Michael Schenkers hands. The inclusion of the many Scorpions songs truly pushed it over the edge. Rock me like a hurricane , Lovedrive and Another piece of meat still have me singing to myself a week later.

Having seen the Scorpions in the early 80's, I can't believe Herman Rarebell still has it but he does (I'm a sucker for a great drummer). The only negative thing I have to say was either related to the sound man or Doogie as I could not hear any of the lyrics. I wouldn't say that was a complaint as I came for the beautiful guitar from Schenker , so lack of lyrics worked for me . That and the fact that the audience was singing every song made up for it anyway. It could have been the fact that I was directly in front of Michael as well but I definitely am not complaining about that!

I can't wait for the next U.S. Tour. Perhaps it is time for a vacation in Japan or England!
