Been a while since I last sent you anyhing ( last time was when Michael cancelled the Scout Bar last year). Saw MSG Friday night @ HOB and wrote a review for all who care:
If you do not have a ticket for MSG, stop reading this and go get one. What I just saw proves what we all know - MSG is a BAND. God were they tight. Michaels playing was near perfect and sooo into it --big smiles all around -- set list the same - Rev ,Wayne and Pete are what Michael has needed for a while -a solid band around him --to let him shine and did he shine - when Gary sang Watch the attack of the Mad Axe Man I had chills and just stood there like everyone else -watching with awe as Michael proved again and again that he still is a master of the 6 string V. New songs are sounding like they belong and fit with the rest of MSG classics. Great show all in all --DO NOT MISS MSG.
