Leif Sundin added as FOURTH singer with Schenker[05/22/16 update]
Fourth vocalist joins Michael Schenker Fest! As previously announced, Michael Schenker will be joined by his three former MSG vocalists Graham Bonnet, Gary Barden and Robin McAuley for one exclusive show at Sweden Rock Festival when the guitarist celebrates his entire career under the name Michael Schenker Fest. We are happy to announce that a fourth singer has now confirmed his participation in the concert: Leif Sundin, who sang in MSG in the mid-90's and again in the mid-00's. Hailing from Stockholm, Sundin has also made a name for himself as the lead singer with Brian Robertson, Great King Rat and the John Norum Band, and these days he's working on a new band project. The Michael Schenker Fest show at Sweden Rock Festival will be the only in the world this year, and possibly ever, featuring all these four singers!
Ted Mckenna & Chris Glen have started the first stage rehearsals with the legendary Michael Schenker, the trio spent a couple of full on days this week, hard at work in a Glasgow studio....It was smiles all round as the group ran through old and new material, sounding powerfull and very very impressive...stay tuned!

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that I will not be able to participate on the upcoming Axes & Anchors cruise. I was genuinely excited to perform on this unique and amazing musical voyage alongside some incredible talent. But with the recent tragic passing of my friend David Van Landing, who was going to be performing with me, I cannot bring myself to perform that material on board the ship. It would be doing a disservice to the cruise, its patrons, and the memory of David to attempt this show without him. I know there will be some disappointed fans, but the cruise has assembled some of the best talent out there and I know it will thrive in light of my having to cancel. I can only hope that after time passes we can come to grips with the loss of David and adequately honor his memory. I look forward to being a part of future Axes & Anchors cruises and appreciate the support of everyone during this trying time. --Michael Schenker[01/24/16 update No.5]
Have you any plans to get up on stage with The Scorpions before they call it a day?"LEMMY ASKED ME TO JOIN MOTORHEAD" (Metal Talk) Interview: Michael Schenker (RAMzine)
I don?ft pay attention to any of that. I focus on what I?fm doing. I?fm fed up with that, and I?fm disappointed in them; they have completely distorted the ?eLovedrive?f phase. Just a few weeks ago I was confronted with The Scorpions [albums reissue] box, and what I saw there, it really, really shocked me. I can?ft trust them anymore. The whole ?eLovedrive?f story is wrong. They are putting it down as if I begged them to take me into The Scorpions. They begged me to join ? I was already doing arena tours with UFO in the States. It?fs unbelievable. They asked me to help them, and now I see that the whole ?eLovedrive?f story is written to their favour; they are the big guys.
I can?ft believe it, honestly ? they?fre just fooling people with their finishing playing, and then they don?ft, and then [they continue playing] forever and ever. I guess when you get older you get bolder or something, but I have absolutely no interest because I can?ft trust them. If I look back now, it?fs unbelievable, little bits and pieces I?fm discovering. So putting together the whole picture, it looks like they?fre absolutely desperate.
