It's always a pleasure to witness a good rock show, but last night in orangevale ca. at The Boardwalk, Michael and company were beyond stellar. I was able to be part of the meet and greet before the show and the guys were so cordial. The boys hit the stage at 10:45 after an impressive performance by Gundriver! This time Michael started the show with Neptune Rising , which was a welcome change from his usual. Throughout the night, Michael and company amazed us with a solid/tight performance. Rev and Pete carried the rhythm of the show the entire night. Wayne was outstanding. Michael never looked or sounded better. He was smiling and singing along (more so with the UFO songs). They did two Scorpions songs that in the past I thought I could do without, but last night I couldn't help but be amazed at how well "Lovedrive, Another Piece of Meat" were played to beyond perfection. The best moment of the show was "Rock Bottom". Michael sounded crisp and he was having fun. His solo was never ending and he added some twists that show that in fact, if possible, he may be getting better! Overall as usual, Michael and Company gave us our money's worth and they left us wanting more. I can't wait to see what Michael does next!
