Hey! Just got home from the Chicago show.I have so much to share and show in pics. It was the best show I have ever seen in the over 500 plus shows I've attended since 1979. It was way better then I thought it would be. I'll upload to my site a review and pics, utube vids by tonight or Mon. I need rest and family time. here is a small taste for you. I still can't believe what I saw and expierienced back stage. If you guys post these please put my site on the pics. I am trying to figure out how to do it. I don't have photoshop. Love you all!! First off, Ritchie, keep up the great work on your site. The Michael Schenker fans truly appreciate it - Thanks!!

We drove down to Chicago from the Twin Cities for this amazing historic night.
- MSG warming up for the Scorpions, I believe only the 2nd time of the entire tour when they played together.
- Michael playing on stage with the Scorpions, Another piece of meat
- Possibly the final Scorpions US show ever (but my guess is they'll be back)
- Carmine Appice on drums for MSG and also played No one like you with the Scorpions
- MSG playing Lights out, Doctor Doctor, Rock Bottom back to back to back.

Again, so pleased to see Michael looking so healthy and happy; lots of smiles through-out the night (really great to see). He was really in top form. Really putting forth an A+ effort. Not sure if it was because this was the last night of the US tour, or because it was in Chicago, but to me it seemed like he put tons of effort into his playing. He was playing a lot of additional riffs at the end of songs where he was just tearing it up- he was on fire this night for sure.

Set list was quite short - but yet amazing with 3 classic UFO songs in a row - WOW!!
order may be off a little, but pretty sure this includes all the songs played.

Set list:
Armed and ready
Cry for the nations
Let sleeping dogs lie
Ready to rock
Into the arena
On and On
Lights out
Doctor doctor
Rock Bottom
------------
Another piece of meat W/The Scorpions

What an amazing night, The Scorpions also delivered by putting on a truly amazing show.

Best Regards
steVe

Ritchie-

I also attached some low res pictures. Use them if you think they look ok. Nothing like Axe's pictures...but they're special to me as my daughter took them. Family outing for some German folk music!

My attempt at a review will pale with others written. The anticipation was unbelievable. I had apprehension as this venue was notorious for not turning up the volume. Well, that was laid to rest immediately! MSG came out to that full house and rocked! As posted earlier, a shortened set list that didn't include Attack Of The Mad Axeman, but nevertheless, a great chance to see Michael really on. He has been for some time, but this was another level for me. Rock Bottom as always was a highlight. This was a chance for me to take the whole family to the show. My daughter has been raised on rock, and all things Schenker in particular. The look on her face as Michael tore through his Rock Bottom solo was priceless! The set ended right on time unfortunately, so now it was the Scorps turn. Polished rockers they are. They always put on such a great stage show. I lose track of how many times I've seen them, but they never disappoint. Of course the highlight for me as when Klaus announced the "family reunion" and Michael trotted out. Then the place lit up. The power of those Matthias and Michael jamming and riffing was awesome. I only wished they could have done a couple more Lovedrive era songs together. Coast to Coast was done earlier and really could have used Michael. And to Axe, standing right next to you and didn't even realize it. But as he said, it was probably the best show I've seen of those two bands. Fantastic.
