Michael Schenker's 50th Anniversary Universal - World Tour Dates Announced: Michael Schenker's 14 leg of the European Tour 2022 has been announced on Michael Schenker's Facebook.

MICHAEL SCHENKER'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY UNIVERSAL - WORLD TOUR

We are pleased to announce the continuation of our current 50th anniversary World Tour with 14-date European leg. Our journey begins in Helsinki, Finland, on April 27th, 2022, and closes in Rome, Italy, on May 15th. The MSG lineup, led by Schenker, will be completed by vocalist Ronnie Romero, guitarist/keyboardist Steve Mann, bassist Barend Courbois, and drummer Bodo Schopf. The setlist will include tracks from our latest album "Immortal" alongside a variety of classics from Schenker's successful career. A special support guest is yet to be announced, but you can't miss this special celebration!

'In Search Of The Peace Of Mind' had to be my 50th anniversary celebration song. It means so much to me, because it was my very first musical composition I wrote at the age of 15. And it was also the first song I had ever put on a record, also at the age of 15.

[...] this song from the original "Lonesome Crow" Scorpion's album, the very first album the Scorpions had ever recorded, has a solo on it that that was so perfect I would never change a note in 1000 years. I have no idea where it came from, alongside the other solos on "Lonesome Crow", where you can hear that I am an amateur, young and developing as a kid. But this lead break came from somewhere else.
